Yes, it’s absolutely essential that you inform your insurer about medical history, which also includes details about your history with COVID. If you don’t reveal this information at the time of buying a term plan, your claim may get rejected later on. 

 

Yes, if you’re getting your policy reinstated, you may be asked by your insurer to provide information about whether you were diagnosed with COVID or not. You may be asked for more details if you were indeed diagnosed with COVID.
